Parity system, transfer protection, multi-functional displays
The LIO control system has given BERNMOBIL an efficient, state-of-the-art Automatic Vehicle Location and Control System (AVLC). The project was implemented in three stages starting in 1999, so that the transport service provider was in a position to use a large number of the system‘s features as early as possible. Bus operations run by Regionalverkehr Bern-Solothurn (RBS) and Postautos in the Bern Region are also connected up to the system.
